You will learn about the Stress Response and the role of stress reactions in causing and/or perpetuating physical, mental, emotional and relationship problems. You will also learn about and experience the benefits of activating the body’s Relaxation Response to counteract the effects of stress and leave with specific, concrete techniques to use in everyday life to enhance your overall wellbeing.
Intuitive Eating – In this program, you will discover a whole new way of eating and gaining peace with food. Additionally, you will gain a deeper understanding of your body and your responding to its internal cues, learn how to become more attuned to your body’s natural hunger and fullness signals, distinguish between physical hunger and emotional feelings, gain specific strategies and create your own approach to intuitive eating to help you in your goal of maintaining and sustaining a healthy weight and improved overall wellness.
Transformation Meditation – Studies of meditation have shown reduced stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, reduced chronic pain, improved health, vitality and self-esteem. If you have never meditated before or if you have tried or found it difficult to continue your practice, this course is for you. This 5-session series, includes the theory of meditation, effective techniques and practice time. You will learn simple and effective ways to calm your mind and emotions, experience a state of inner peacefulness and wellbeing, increase your productivity, improve relationships and discover how to free yourself from disturbing thoughts and feelings.
